Jessica (Tilda Swinton) visits her sister, who is in hospital in Bogota. But an unusually powerful sound begins to haunt her nights and keep coming back in the daytime. Following the sound, Jessica sets out on a personal and collective journey across urban and rural Colombia, which lulls the viewer into a state of extreme sensitivity – to the film, oneself and humanity.
