A Maltese fisherman goes out to sea every day in his traditional fishing boat called luzzu, which he inherited from his father, who inherited it from his father. But the EU regulations restrict traditional fishing, pushing the fisherman into the grey area of the economy and ways of providing for his family. A picturesque and genuine depiction of a fisherman’s daily life and the bureaucratic carnage of the ancient rituals and traditions of survival.
