Elma Burni\u0107 (vocals) in Admir \u0106ulumarevi\u0107 (rhythm guitar) are members of FilmMusicOrkestar, a Zagreb-based music sensation performing sevdah-style covers of film music classics. Expect to hear some of the most beautiful sevdah pieces that appeared on the screen, in innovative arrangements.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nBla\u017e + Spiral Mind\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bla\u017e<\/span><\/b> is a local artist who makes music, writes books, draws films, and designs board games. As an electronic music producer, he released a number of albums and worked with some of the biggest names in Slovenia’s alternative music scene. He also plays keyboards in the ex-yu rock band Lelee, and makes award-winning music for theatre.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Spiral Mind<\/span><\/b> is a local band whose compositional worlds include elements ranging from contemporary underground electronic music to traditional African rhythms, defying all genre labels of the Slovenian music scene. The trio, led by Manuel Brajnik, also includes multi-instrumentalist and producer Rok Babi\u010d a.k.a. Rochwald on keys, bass and guitar, and Gaj Bosti\u010d on drums and percussion.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\ndIESIS<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Stefano Carnevali a.k.a <\/span>dIESIS<\/span><\/b> is a DJ and performer based in Trieste. His eclectic expression combines genres ranging from classical to experimental electronic music. Carnevali is a cofounder of Hakidame web radio, and hosts a theatre, music and talk show on Radio Fragola. His night of Italo Disco-style rhythms will transport us back to the 1970s and 80s.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nKENDI + Benjamin Shock\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Luka \u010candek a.k.a. <\/span>KENDI<\/span><\/b> is a local techno DJ and audio producer. His journey in music went from summer parties, to playing fast, raw, repetitive electronic music at underground rave parties, and doing a series of events called \u2018Tuesday’s At The Lab’ at Terminal, Ljubljana. KENDI promises a mix of modern electronic rhythms and melodies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Benjamin Vukovi\u0107, DJ, multi-record producer and mixing engineer from Piran, known<\/span> as Benjamin Shock<\/span><\/b>, is best described as: versatile. His passion doesn\u2019t end with electronic music; it extends to genres including house, techno, funk\/disco, chill out, hip-hop. His newly launched record label, Watermellow Music, aims to deliver quality dance music and pleasantly smooth mellow music.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nBTaste + KeZZ\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Born in Trieste, Michael Petronio is a drummer and music producer. <\/span>Living between frontiers, his love for flavoursome samples and fresh beats led him to create <\/span>BTaste<\/span><\/b>, a project which finds inspiration in downtempo music. From oriental and rebetiko rhythms to tropical influences, BTaste is a fine blend of ethereal atmospheres and powerful percussions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Kezz<\/span><\/b> is a musician, composer and producer from Belgrade, now based in Ljubljana. Her expression combines modern electro-organic sound and stylised vocals with a touch of traditional Balkan tunes. Kezz also works for theatre, radio, film, exhibitions, and performance art. Her set will include songs from her upcoming third album <\/span>Elektroizvorika<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/b>Vili Van Style pop-up shop<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Vili Van Style is t<\/span>he first boutique shop on wheels in Slovenia, and a community striving to bring together young creatives from across the sector. The purpose of the project is to promote young local designers and decentralise access to their products. The pop-up shop on wheels tours the country, presenting, promoting and encouraging local design. Featured designers include JKH identity, David Bacali, <\/span>Montango, Gentle Power, and UriKuri<\/span>. <\/span>The project is part of the Centre for Creativity partner network<\/span><\/i>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>PASOLINI REVISITED, <\/span><\/b>exhibition by UNG School of Arts<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>This year’s exhibition by the <\/span>School of Arts, University of Nova Gorica, joins the celebration of the centenary of the birth of the Italian cultural and political icon, Pier Paolo Pasolini. Through their photography, BA and MA students of photography and film explore Pasolini as a poet, filmmaker, and artist torn between religion, entertainment, and leftist politics. The tutor in the student\u2019s creative process was Tanja Verlak.<\/span>

\n<\/span>The Forgotten Secret of Izola<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>With a new model of the town of Izola, complete with a projection with fascinating audiovisual effects, the Izolana Musem tells the story of how Izola grew from the first island settlement to a town merged with the mainland. The model is a key element of the adventure game \u201cThe forgotten secret of Izola\u201d, and a valuable addition to Izolana as a museum dedicated to the town\u2019s history.<\/span>

\n<\/span>The gallery hosts an exhibition by Tine Dekorti, a local artist whose forms of expression include a variety of media, from graffiti, tattoo art, pencil on paper, acrylic on canvas, to drawing on clothes and shoes, digital design and video.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Exhibition opening: 2. 6.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>CIRCLE’ exhibition<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>The Drat Gallery hosts an exhibition entitled Circle, produced by students with expert guidance by designer Sandra Kocjan\u010di\u010d. Also on display is the permanent exhibition of jewellery by Sandra Kocjan\u010di\u010d.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
